If you’re just starting out with VLM carpet cleaning, a pump sprayer should be one of your 1st purchases. Here’s why:

After you vacuum in a customer’s home, the next step is to spray a gallon or two of “VLM cleaning solution” onto the carpet.

Steam cleaners have a “sprayer” built into their truckmount or portable machine.

But remember – you’re not a steam cleaner. You’re a VLM cleaner.

VLM cleaners use different equipment & chemicals than steam cleaners. And that’s good news…

Instead of an expensive steam cleaning unit with an attached sprayer, you can use an inexpensive pump top sprayer to apply the cleaning solution.

(what a HUGE advantage! Pump sprayers cost about $20)
